Palu: Reporting The Earthquake

Two weeks ago an earthquake and tsunami hit the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. More than two thousand people died in the disaster, though the final figure may be much higher. Oki Budhi was in the first 大象传媒 Indonesian team to reach the city of Palu where the tsunami struck.
Under the banyan tree
In Pakistan's Punjab Province stands a banyan tree believed to be hundreds of years old. Locals say it was planted by a Sufi saint, and local people revere it. Asif Farooqi of 大象传媒 Urdu knows the tree well.

Saving the moon bears
Bear bile is a traditional remedy in Vietnam, obtained from moon bears kept in small cages. The practice is now illegal, and remaining captive bears are being moved to rescue centres. 大象传媒 Vietnamese reporter Hoang Nguyen visited one.
