Facing their fathers' crimes

Valeria Perasso hears from two women speaking out against their fathers who committed crimes as part of Argentina’s brutal military dictatorship.

The ´óÏó´«Ã½â€™s Valeria Perasso tells us about two Argentinian women she met for her documentary about the children of men who committed crimes during the military dictatorship. Between 1976 and 1983, the regime hunted down and killed around 30,000 people.

The Isauras of Ukraine
In the 1980s, Soviet TV viewers fell in love with a Brazilian soap opera, Escrava Isaura, or Slave Isaura. ´óÏó´«Ã½ Ukrainian's Oksana Kundirenko was a fan, and she took Lucélia Santos, who starred in the title role, to meet some Ukrainian Isauras named in her honour.
