Kalista Sy is on a mission to show Senegalese women that they can be themselves. She鈥檚 created a TV series called 鈥淢aitresse d'un homme mari茅鈥� which tackles subjects which are normally off limits in Senegal 鈥� such as sex, infidelity, domestic abuse and polygamy. The series is hugely popular, even though it has been criticised by religious clerics and TV regulators in the country. Kalista tells Jo Fidgen how she learned to write a TV series via the internet and how women get in touch with her all the time to tell her their stories.

When Canadian accountant Geoff Chutter visited a water park as part of his job in 1980, he knew immediately that this was how he wanted to spend the rest of his life. He took a plunge into the unknown, gave up his accountancy job and within a year had built his own water park. Geoff is now the world's largest designer of water parks and with his company Whitewater West he's created some of the most thrilling waterslides.

A few weeks ago we heard the heartwarming story of the young couple from Verona, Italy - the city of Romeo and Juliet - who fell in love across a balcony during lockdown. Paola Angelli and Michele D'Alpaos were unable to actually meet because of the restrictions on social interaction. But on May 4th the lockdown was lifted and they were finally able to go on their first proper date. They've been telling Outlook how it went.
