Way back in 1970 Paul McCartney released his debut solo album after the breakup of The Beatles with a self titled produced album which featured him playing every instrument. He repeated the exercise 10 years later, and now 40 years after that he is back with McCartney 3. Recorded during the first lockdown Paul will be telling us all about it.

We will also be hearing from West End singing stars Michael Ball and Alfie Boe who have found even greater success as a duo with a string of hit albums. Their latest is packed with festive favourites and we will be finding out what the season means to them.

Of course there is the annual rush to get the all important UK Christmas number one single, The last two years it has been won by LadBaby and his odes to the great British snack the sausage roll. He is back for a third year....can he make it an hat trick ?

As usual we will be featuring all of the top 5 best selling songs and find out if Mariah Carey can hang on for a third week.
