In praise of Covid Data
How we came to expect dashboards full of statistics.
It鈥檚 over a year since a global pandemic swept the world which caught many countries unprepared. In the beginning, one key problem was that the authorities and the public wanted data on how bad the problem was - how many cases of Covid 19 were there? How many tests were being carried out? How many people were in hospital?
On this week鈥檚 programme we talk to Clare Griffiths from the UK鈥檚 coronavirus dashboard and Alexis Madrigal from the Atlantic Magazine鈥檚 Covid Tracking Project in the US.
