The record-breaking Atlantic hurricane season has devastated parts of the Caribbean and Central America. We鈥檒l hear what it has meant to one neighbourhood in Nicaragua. In a speech this week, the UN Secretary General said that 鈥渁pocalyptic fires and floods, cyclones and hurricanes are increasingly the new normal.鈥� What, if any, is the link between hurricanes and climate change, and should we be preparing for even stronger storms?
