A second chance to hear DJ Edu鈥檚 conversation with Nigerian producer Tempoe.
Tempoe has made some of the continent鈥檚 biggest hits with some of Africa鈥檚 biggest artists. He co-produced one of the most successful Afrobeats songs ever, Love Nwantiti by CKay, which went viral on social media in 2021 and charted internationally. Tempoe also produced Joeboy鈥檚 Alcohol, which had amassed 50 million streams within four weeks of its release.
In this edition, Tempoe tells the story of these songs, gives his take on the role of the producer and the creative process of music making, and reveals that he has no desire to take to the stage or step into the limelight as an artist in his own right.
