French election: Political deadlock as the left beats far right

Macron faces uncertainty after surprise victory for the left alliance.

Many expected the far right to win France's snap election, but not only did they lose, they came in third. Instead, it was a left-wing coalition that won the most seats in the French Parliament. Host Caitr铆ona Perry speaks with the 大象传媒鈥檚 Europe digital editor Paul Kirby and Sophie Pedder Paris Bureau Chief for The Economist about where France goes next.
