An ode to the braille typewriter virtually unchanged in 70 years
An ode to the Perkins Brailler - the clunky, noisy braille typewriter that’s virtually unchanged 70 years after its invention and now sold in 200 countries worldwide. Reporter Emma Tracey posted on Facebook about needing a new one and Perkins owners around the world started telling her stories about their Brailler – some joyous, some poignant, others intriguing.
