It was great! Gwen has been my idol since i was alot younger and aswell as the good music she played it was very interesting to hear how what we were listening to had inspired her life. And in turn inspiration is passed on, passed onto me and i will pass it onto my friend by recommending she listens again!

I'm listening to the show again (for the first time), and am a bit gutted that 'Saw Red' which she sang with Sublime isn't on the track list, or in fact any other Sublime songs. Lets see if they get a mention.

gwen is the best!

Don't Speak is a GOOD song........... but i don't think it or her own 2 tracks included here - not forgetting her husband's forgettable band Bush have an honest place in 60 minutes of "insiprational" music.... i'm sorry to say i found her choices here a little boring... Shame - coz i like her and enjoyed listening to her stories!!
Jo, Lancaster
only 3 of her own tunes. how modest! ;)

Absolutely love Gwen's choices! Makes me wish I'd been a teenager in the 80's, I'm just glad there's people around that make good ska music now too!

i didnt get to here gwens show last night as was at her concert in birmingham. so im so glad can listen back to radio show now. if its any thing like her concert it will be fantastic. she came across as a kind, down to earth person and made the show so personal, eps when she got into crowd and was only ten paces from me. so pleased she played danger zone as it was the song the inspired me to drive again after illness. please pass on my love and thanks to her. right off to listen to radio show now xx

I'm a big Madness fan and I'm glad Gwen played one of their less well known songs, not that there's anything wrong with One Step Beyone,Baggy Trousers etc.

Unlike a few of her contemporaries, Gwen appears to be level headed & non-egotistical despite the millions of records sold, which is quite refreshing.I really enjoyed her legends show & you can never go wrong anywhere playing some Bob Marley.
