Where I Play:

Singing and playing my guitar is a real diversion from my studies and an incentive to actually get the homework out of the way so I play a lot in my bedroom. Once my A-Levels are done, I intend to spend a year at music full-time before I start university. I'm taking A-Levels in Psychology, Theatre Studies and Art.

So far, I've played in lots of well-known Manchunian venues like Night and Day, Band on the Wall and at the city's Water's Edge Festival. I also play on the Summer festival circuit and in 2000, I opened the Liverpool Proms when I guested with Lady Smith Black Mambazo. The same year, I was honoured to be Britain's representative on a project called On the Line which celebrated the New Millennium both in Ghana and London. Playing live is a real thrill and every time I do it, my confidence grows and grows, particularly when the audiences respond positively.
