PARAM VIR'S ION
Front Row talks to composer Param Vir, whose opera, Ion, based on David Lan’s translation of the Euripides’ play, receives its British premiere at the Royal Opera House tomorrow evening.

Param Vir's opera Ion is at the Linbury Studio Theatre, Royal Opera House, London, 23 and 24 October and then on tour to Basingstoke, Poole, Sheffield, Mold, Huddersfield, Cardiff and Birmingham

WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL
Tomorrow sees the inaugural concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Clad in stainless steel panels and glass, the hall was designed by Frank O. Gehry, whose other works include the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Architecture and design critic Sam Hall Kaplan talks to Front Row about his impression of the building.
