Trevor has reported from听many countries as a foreign correspondent for The Times听 and The Daily Telegraph and won the David Holden Award for foreign reporting and the International Reporter of the Year Prize. His books include India File , My Foreign Country听 and Cobra Road . His latest book Conquerors of Time - Exploration and Invention in the Age of Daring听 (John Murray ISBN 0-7195-5528-0) tells the story of 18th and 19th century explorers, inventors and entrepreneurs.
Benedict Allen, author, explorer & TV presenter/filmmaker
Benedict is best known for his solo expeditions to remote corners of the globe. These journeys are depicted in his nine books and in numerous TV and radio programmes. He has also made five 大象传媒 television series.
Nick Maes, travel writer & Get Writing with Excess Baggage听 judge
Nick has worked in various fields over the years - in theatre, fashion, radio and as a journalist. He has published two novels - Not Dark Yet听 which is set in the Aeolian Islands and The Africa Bar, set in Zanzibar. Nick is currently working on two books, one inspired by his recent travels in the Himalayas and another based in New York.
