HITCHHIKING
Five years ago Tom Parry took on a marathon of hitchhiking around Australia. He has published an account of his journey in a new book called Thumbs Up Australia: Hitchhiking the Outback and now joins John McCarthy to share some of the highlights of his trip.
TRANSPORT DESIGN John McCarthy looks at the way cabins and coaches of aircraft and trains are being constantly refined and redesigned.听 John asks Anthony James, Editor of Aircraft Interiors International and Richard Bourne, Fleet Development Engineer for GNER who really benefits from the improvements, the fare paying travellers or the cost conscious transporters?听
