THE SHAN STATES
The Shan states, which grouped together now form a district of Burma () called Shan State, are located in northern Burma and border China to the North and Laos to the east, Thailand to the south and the rest of Burma to the west and south.

A few years ago听 and his wife took a walking holiday in the Hungarian mountains.听 They enjoyed it so much they decided to go again and chose to go to Lake Balaton in the west of the country.听 At about the same time he went to his dentist with a problem, the cost of the treatment was high, but as it happens, Chris heard Hungary described on TV as the dentistry capital of the world. Chris decided to combine the trips and on his next visit to Hungary, he made enquiries with a dentist and discovered that his treatment would be a lot cheaper so he signed up straightaway.
