THE OLIVE ROUTE
Carol Drinkwater talks about her new book The Olive Route which maps the route by which the olive became the cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet.
Carol describes her cultural and historical adventure across the Eastern Mediterranean coast where she gained access to diverse regions and communities. Starting her journey in Lebanon looking for the world's oldest olive tree Carol travelled for over eight months learning about the origin and cultivation of the olive.
WINE TRAVEL GUIDE
Shyama Perera talks to award-winning wine writer, Robert Joseph author of the Wine Travel Guide to the World and to writer, broadcaster and Master of Wine Sarah Jane Evans - both travelled extensively to pursue their passion for wine.
Sarah Jane describes her recent trips to Chile and Canada to find out about the cultures which produce the wines we enjoy at home. Robert Joseph discusses the rise in wine tourism and explains how vineyards are now doing more to accommodate tourists.

Robert Joseph is an award-winning wine writer. Robert co-founded Wine International Magazine over 20 years ago and was publishing editor until 2005; for sixteen years Robert was also the wine correspondent for the Sunday Telegraph.
Robert has written several books on wine and was twice the winner of the Glenfiddich for wine writing. As a member of le Grand Jury Européen he has judged and chaired wine competitions in France, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.
