Listen to Excess Baggage for
02 DecemberÌý2006
From Kent in the east to Bath in the west, from London down to Southampton Jane Austen could scarcely be considered a globe trotter.Ìý But Sandi Toksvig meets Caroline Sanderson a modern traveller who wanted to see the places Jane Austen lived in and wrote about, and compiled them in a new book entitled ‘A Rambling Fancy’.
FISHING Sandi travels the banks of rivers and lakes with seasoned anglers Jeremy Wade and Chris Yates.Ìý They share their experiences of fishing trips at home and abroad, journeys that have taken them to Finland and the Himalayas.
