John McCarthy talks about the delights of the Channel Islands as a holiday destination with Alan Whicker, who for the past thirty five years has lived on the island of Jersey and Maggie Talbot Cull, a Guernsey islander, who runs her own travel company catering for thousands of Europeans looking to enjoy the history and pleasures of the islands.
Hilary Bradt, the founder of the Bradt Travel Guides retires as Managing Director after thirty three years of being in charge.听 Hilary reveals some of her more hair-brained adventures back in the seventies, such as driving in reverse for 100 miles in Argentina, and recalls what prompted her to write her very first guide book.
