NATASHA WOOD
Natasha Wood was born with spinal muscular atrophy, a rare genetic muscular disorder. She has full feelings in her limbs but is too weak even to hold a book or a glass of milk. But she’s turned the challenges of her life into a stage showÌý which she’s now bringing to the West End on 30th March - critics are now calling her a ‘motorised Mae West’.

Tim Ecott has written a book about his upbringing and his extraordinary life, mostly in South Africa. Stealing Water: A Secret Life in an African CityÌýis published by Sceptre.
