JAMES GEARY
Ìýis a journalist and author of Geary's Guide to the World's Great Aphorists and The World in a Phrase: A Brief History of the Aphorism. He is chair and co-organiser of a symposium “" which is on 14th March at Goodenough College, Mecklenburgh Square, London WC1. His Juggling Aphorisms show is on 13th March at 6:30pm at Waterstones, Gower Street, London WC1.
ROY DOTRICE
Ìýis the actor who has just been awarded the OBE for his services to drama. He is currently reviving his one-man show Brief Lives, adapted from the memoirs, Miscellanies, Letters and Jottings of John Aubrey, which he first premiered forty years ago.
Brief Lives is on tour and will be at the Theatre Royal Windsor 17th-22nd March and Richmond Theatre 25th-29th March.
SATHNAM SANGHERA
Sathnam Sanghera is a journalist for The Times newspaper. In his memoir If You Don't Know Me By Now he tells how, when he was twenty-four, he discovered a dark secret about his family that sent him on a journey into the past: to his father's harsh life in the Punjab to the terrifying early years of his parents' marriage in Wolverhampton.
