MAY-TORILL HAETTA SIRI
May-Torill Haetta Siri and her family are reindeer herders, part of Europe's last indigenous peoples, the Sami, of Northern Norway. The 大象传媒's听 documentary, Reindeer Girls, follows May-Torill's family and their reindeer herd on its tough spring migration to the north Norway coast. Natural World: Reindeer Girls is on 大象传媒2听on Sunday at 5.50pm (rpt).听 It is also available on .

KHALED HOSSEINI
Khaled Hosseini is the author of the international bestsellers, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, his family were granted political asylum in the United States in 1980 following the Soviet invasion. He is now a goodwill envoy to the United Nations Refugee Agency.听 The Kite Runner听and A Thousand Splendid Suns are published by Bloomsbury.听 He will be giving a talk at , 100 Charing Cross Road, London WC2 on 10th听April at 7pm.听

GILBERT TUHABONYE
听is a runner and sports coach. His dreams of becoming a champion runner were interrupted in 1993 when his school in Burundi was attacked by Hutu rebels. He was the only one of his class to survive the genocide and eventually escaped to the Unitied States, where he has become a world-class athlete and Olympic hopeful. He is over in the UK to run in the听 on 13th April. His book Running Man is published in paperback by Metro.

JEREMY TIANG
Jeremy Tiang is an actor, who grew up in Singapore. He is in London in the play Jingo which tells the story of the Japanese invasion of Singapore. The play is about both the expatriates and the people of Singapore who served their drinks, but who were left behind during the evacuation. Jingo: A Farce of War is at the , Chelsea from 26th March until 19th April.
