Libby Purves
This week听Libby Purves听is听joined by Sir Ferrers Vyvyan, Caspar Walsh, Neriya Mark, Sama Daoud and Prasanna Gautam.
SIR FERRERS VYVYAN
Sir Ferrers Vyvyan is 13th Baronet of听 and is currently High Sheriff of Cornwall. The High Sheriff is the Sovereign鈥檚 representative in the county for all matters relating to the Judiciary and the maintenance of law and order and he will be the sixth Vyvyan to hold the post.听 The Vyvyan family have lived on the historic Cornish estate of Trelowarren on the Lizard for 600 years.

CASPAR WALSH
听has spent the past twenty years working with offenders in prisons running rehabilitation programmes such as creative writing workshops. In his memoir Criminal he tells of his childhood growing up with his father, a bank robber and drug-dealer and how he soon found himself with a string of convictions of his own for theft and drug addiction, until rehab turned his life around. Criminal is published by Headline.

NERIYA MARK AND SAMA DAOUD
Neriya Mark is Jewish and Sama Daoud is Arab Muslim. They are friends that have grown up together in , an Arab-Jewish village founded in 1970 in Israel. On 21st May Neriya and Sama will be talking at Pathways: Faiths in conversation at St Johns Wood Church, London NW8 at 7pm. They welcome people that are not part of 'Pathways' to go along.

PRASANNA GAUTAM
Prasanna Gautam is a retired doctor. Born in Nepal, he trained to be a doctor in neighbouring India and returned home to practise medicine when King Biendra held almost absolute power over Nepal. In his book I Will Need to Break Your Other Leg: tales of medical adventure and misadventure he tells of his time working in the least developed parts of Nepal. I Will Need to Break Your Other Leg is published by Hammersmith Press.
