Libby Purves
This week听Libby Purves听is听joined by Miss Behave aka Amy Saunders, Louis Ferrante, John Julius Norwich and Lee Campbell.
MISS BEHAVE
Amy Saunders goes under the professional name of .听 A comedienne and accomplished variety performer, she is one of only three female swordswallowers in the world. She is bringing her show, Miss Behave's Variety Night to the Roundhouse this summer which will include a听contortionist, a hula girl, and a Frank Sinatra style crooner, with a twist. Miss Behave's Variety Night is at the听 Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 from 31st July until 24th August.

LOUIS FERRANTE
听is a former Mafia insider who is now a professional writer. In his memoir Tough Guy he tells the story of how he made his reputation as a gang leader on the streets of New York and later, with the infamous Gambino crime family, pulling off some of the most lucrative robberies in American history. Tough Guy is published by Bantam Press.

JOHN JULIUS NORWICH
John Julius Norwich is a former diplomat who became a well-regarded travel writer and panellist on 大象传媒 Radio's Round Britain Quiz. In his autobiography Trying to Please he tells of his life, born into a privileged background, his parents were Duff and Diana Cooper,听a former听cabinet minister, and his mother a beauty and socialite. He continues to work for Venice in Peril and the World Monuments Fund. Trying to Please is published by Dovecote Press.

LEE CAMPBELL
听is a performance artist. For this year's he will be recreating the opening credits of the 1970s comedy 'The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin' where Reggie says goodbye to a monotonous existence and runs into the sea, leaving his clothes and his life behind, only to reemerge from the water as a new and refreshed individual. Lee's re-enactment will take place at the Whitstable Biennale at 4pm on 28th June.
