STEPHEN PAGE Stephen Page is the Artistic Director of . In a unique collaboration between Bangarra Dance and The Australian Ballet, they will be performing Rites, set to Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring at Sadlers Wells this week. It's an exploration of the natural forces that shape the ancient Australian landscape, developing a new language between the dancers of both companies. Rites is at Sadlers Wells from 7th to 11th October.
KIMBERLEY NIXON
Kimberley Nixon is the actress who recently starred in the award-winning 大象传媒 adaptation of Cranford. She is currently playing Griet, to Adrian Dunbar's Vermeer in Tracy Chevalier's The Girl With A Pearl Earring. Having trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, she graduated in 2007, and has since gone on to appear in the teen movie's Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Wild Child. The Girl with A Pearl Earring is at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, London until 1st Nov.
DOUG BEATTIE
Captain Doug Beattie was awarded the Military Cross in 2006 for his part in seizing the town of Garmsir in Afghanistan from the Taliban in which he recounts in his book An Ordinary Soldier. He entered the 1st Battalion Irish Regiment as a 17 year-old and served in Bosnia and Iraq and has just finished听his final tour of duty in Afghanistan.听 An Ordinary Soldier is published by Simon & Schuster.
