Libby Purves听is听joined by听Captain Frodo, Denis Lawson, Dame Julia Polak and Adrian Flanagan.
CAPTAIN FRODO
Frodo Sandven, aka Captain Frodo is a contortionist from Norway. He is currently appearing in , a melange of cabaret, new burlesque, circus sideshow and contemporary variety currently at The Hippodrome in London's Leicester Square. His act includes squeezing himself through two tennis racquets bringing new meaning to the word contortion.听 La Clique is at The Hippodrome, Leicester Square until 1st February 2009.

DENIS LAWSON
Denis Lawson is the actor of stage, screen and television,听perhaps best known for his role as George Urquhart in the film Local Hero. He's currently taking on a very different role, playing the owner of a transvestite nightclub in Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein's musical , playing George to Douglas Hodge's Albin. La Cage Aux Folles is at the Playhouse Theatre, Northumberland Avenue until 10th January.

DAME JULIA POLAK
听is Director of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Centre at Imperial College London. She has been at the forefront of medical research since the 1960s and features in a new book A Matter of Life and Death, which features conversations with fourteen eminent pathologists. She is also one of the longest survivors of a heart/lung transplant in the UK. A Matter of Life and Death: Conversations with Pathologists is published by Dundee University Press.

ADRIAN FLANAGAN
听is an adventurer, entrepreneur and author. In May 2008 he completed the final leg of his remarkable journey to be the first yachtsman to single-handedly sail vertically (north to south) round the world. In his book Over the Top he tells how he faced death when a rogue wave swept him from the deck, was chased by pirates off Brazil, dislocated both wrists and, at Cape Horn,听capsized in a hurricane.
