ANTON DU BEKE 听is the professional ballroom dancer, best known for starring in 大象传媒 One鈥檚 , making ballroom queens of celebrities Lesley Garrett, Esther Rantzen, Patsy Palmer, Jan Ravens and Kate Garraway. He started dancing at the age of 14 and is about to start a national tour with his professional partner Erin Boag in听听which tours the UK from 3rd January, starting at the Barbican.
PROFESSOR NICHOLAS ORME
Nicholas Orme is Emeritus Professor of History at Exeter University, specialising in Medieval and Tudor history, particularly the history of children. He has just published The Cathedral Cat: Stories From Exeter Cathedral which includes tales a cat who was on the payroll for nearly a hundred and fifty years and the absent-minded Victorian Bishop. The Cathedral Cat: Stories From Exeter Cathedral is published by Impress Books.
MIRIAM MASON-SESAY
Miriam Mason-Sesay left her job as head of modern languages at a school in South London and moved to Freetown, Sierra Leone to open a school in September 2000, to help hundreds of young victims of the brutal civil war. Miriam set up the school with the help of听the charity which promotes education among the underprivileged and refugee children of Sierra Leone purely through charitable donations.
STUART HALL
Stuart Hall is a member of the 听who have just released their first album, Together, with all sales going to . Trombonist Stuart was born into a Salvationist family but rebelled against them and their beliefs in his early 20鈥檚. He joined the Grenadier Guards, but found his faith once more years later is now听Bandmaster at Maidenhead Citadel in Berkshire. Together is released by Universal Music.
