Libby Purves听is听joined by听Dick McCaw, Paul Merton, Louise Medus and Humphrey Barclay.
DICK MCCAW
Dick McCaw is Senior Lecturer in Drama at Royal Holloway, University of London and co-founder of the Actor's Touring Company and Medieval Players. He is giving a talk The Actor - A Reluctant Mover, as part of this year's , which is about his movement teacher, Geraldine Stephenson and about her teacher, the legendary pioneer of movement and dance, Rudolf Laban. The Actor - A Reluctant Mover is on Saturday 24th January, 2.30pm at the ICA Theatre.

PAUL MERTON
Paul Merton is the comedian whose quick-witted improvisational skills, surreal humour and dry delivery made him a star of Whose Line Is It Anyway? back in the 80's. He was also a founder of The Comedy Store Players and now probably best known as a team captain on Have I Got News for You and host of Room 101. Paul has always loved silent comedy from a very early age and he is hosting听 which runs from 22nd until 25th January.

LOUISE MEDUS
Louise Medus was born was without arms and legs, one of the early victims of the drug thalidomide. Her father David fought a high-profile campaign for proper compensation, with Louise becoming the face of the battle with the drug company. In her autobiography No Hand to Hold, No Legs to Dance On she explains how she overcame the circumstances of her birth to lead a fiercely independent life. No Hand to Hold, No Legs to Dance On is published by Accent Press.

HUMPHREY BARCLAY
Humphrey Barclay is the one-time Head of Comedy at London Weekend Television, who produced hits such as Doctor In The House, No-Honestly, A Fine Romance and 顿别蝉尘辞苍诲鈥檚. He is going to be interviewed by Michael Palin about his new life as an African Chief in Ghana in an event at the听 on 21st January. The event is open to the public and is a fundraiser for the village of Kwahu-Tafo in Ghana, West Africa. Tickets are available online from .
