Libby Purves听is听joined by听Colin Dunne, Sandra Brind, Imelda Staunton and James Attlee.
COLIN DUNNE
is an internationally acclaimed Irish Dancer. By the age of 9 he had听won his first World Championship title and was the first dancer to win the World, All England and All Ireland titles in the same year. After touring with the Chieftains and three years in Riverdance he turned his attention to teaching and Masterclasses. His first solo show Out of Time looks at his relationship with Irish dance and contemporary dance. Out of Time is at the Barbican from 17th to 28th February.

SANDRA BRIND
Sandra Brind's mother Ivy was a survivor of the Bethnal Tube shelter disaster in 1943 when 173 people died. As the 66th anniversary approaches, the charity set up Stairway to Heaven Memorial is still trying to raise 拢600,000 for a special designed bronze and memorial garden at the site of the tragedy. There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday 1st March at St John on Bethnal Green Church at 2.30pm followed by by a tour of an exhibition and plans of the new model of the proposed memorial.

IMELDA STAUNTON
Imelda Staunton is one of Britain鈥檚 most popular and versatile actresses. She won a BAFTA and an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of the backstreet abortionist Vera Drake in the Mike Leigh film. She is currently starring in a revival of Joe Orton鈥檚 comic masterpiece, Entertaining Mr Sloane at London's Trafalgar Studios. Educating Mr Sloane is at Trafalgar Studios until 11th April.

JAMES ATTLEE
James Attlee decided to go on a pilgrimage to get to know his own neighbourhood. In his book Isolarion: A Different Oxford Journey his journey takes him down the Cowley Road in East Oxford, a busy, cosmopolitan thoroughfare which connects the academic heart of the city with the car factory that in its sixties heyday employed over twenty thousand people, becoming a magnet for immigrant workers.
