JODIE PRENGER
Jodie Prenger learnt her musical craft in working mens’ clubs and on cruise ships before winning the coveted role of Nancy in the new West End production of Oliver on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ One programme . Her autobiography
It’s a Fine Life: My Story is published by Michael O'Mara Books.Ìý The soundtrack recording of Oliver is available on First Night Records.

BRIAN TURNER
Brian Turner is a poet and former infantry team leader in the US Army. He gained a masters degree in poetry before following a family tradition of military service, serving seven years, on tour in Iraq and Bosnia. His poetry collection, Here, Bullet, was first published in 2005 (and in the UK in 2007 by ) and received nine major literary awards. He is on a reading tour of the UK from 16th-23rd March.

COLLEEN MCCULLOUGH
Colleen McCullough is probably best known for writing The Thorn Birds, considered by some to be one of the greatest romantic novels of modern times, selling over thirty million copies worldwide. When it was made into a mini-series in the eighties, it was one of the most widely watched TV dramas ever. She has just written the book and lyrics to TheThorn Birds: A Musical.

JOHN ALLEN
John Allen was an active Member of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team from 1972 and Team Leader from 1989 until his retirement in 2007. In his career he participated in well over 1000 rescues. His book Cairngorm John: A Life in Mountain Rescue is being published by .
