Bluebells in West Wood
As Hay-on-Wye welcomes the world's literary experts for its annual book festival, Helen Mark discovers there's more to this small Welsh town than just books
One of the most famous books which came out of the region around Hay was written about the countryside of the Wye Valley.听

Helen Mark finds out more about the writings of as he travelled the Wye Valley in the 19th Century.听

The programme takes us on a journey along the river where Helen finds out about the听 and increase the variety and numbers of fish along the Wye.听听

Helen hears first hand the magic of the sound of the river when she does some birdwatching through her ears.听 And finally she travels to听 to hunt for an , only to discover that someone got there first.
