Patrick鈥檚 latest book, Notes from an Exhibition, is set in the landscape around his home near . Clare joins Patrick on a walk along the coastal path from the Minack Theatre, a place that has been important to him since he performed there as a young chorister.

He explains to Clare how his daily walk fuels his writing process and helps him consider the exploits of his new imaginary friends 鈥 the characters in his latest novel. He is a born romantic and he says 鈥渢his area has it in spades鈥.
