Simon Lissak is always in a hurry and as a result things tend to go wrong...

Simon Lissak is a man in a hurry and this is something that gets him into trouble. Take for example, the time he was late for work and couldn't find his keys. Simon was living in a house converted into 3 flats with a shared front door and mortice. One morning whilst rushing round his flat late for work, he remembered he'd left his keys in his jacket in his car (a lotus).
He decided that the quickest thing to do was shut the door to his flat, go out of the house and retrieve his keys. He could then simply lock the front door and rush off to work. The only problem was that once he got to the main door of the house he realised someone had turned the mortice lock and he was trapped.
His mobile phone was also in his jacket in the car, so there was nothing he could do except shout at strangers through the letter box. He tried shouting "Help" and "Hello" but people just walked past probably fearing it was some Jeremy Beadle-like hoax.
Finally, someone did stop. "It wasn't until I looked out of the letter box and saw this guy walking away with my car keys that I thought maybe I could have just waited and I wouldn't be losing my car now" . And then there would be the problem of explaining it to his insurance company! He says, "I tend to do these things, without really thinking, What If".
Then suddenly, Simon saw the man come back with the keys. He handed the keys to him through the letter box and went off. "Maybe for him, the whole experience was quite entertaining. I'm sure he dined out on it".
Simon's wife, Max, sees his getting in and out of scrapes as part of his personality. She's more cautious and she just doesn't get herself into these situations. But nevertheless, Simon admits to frequently blaming her for the situations in which he finds himself - quelle surprise!
