A new calling

Padraic Duffy had always hoped to spend his life in the service of God. After deciding to become a teaching brother, his secondary school education was taken care of by the monks. After a while, Padraic decided that he really wanted to become a priest.聽However in his diocese, such a privilege attracted a charge which his widowed mother was unable to raise. Acting in anger, Padraic abandoned his plans and moved to England where he launched himself into an entirely different world - bingo. Even though he now has a chain of bingo halls聽his deep religious conviction never really left him and Padraic has developed a very close friendship with nuns from the Jesus and Mary convent near his Felixstowe bingo hall.
