We try to make ear-grabbing programmes about the whole world of work, public and private, from vast corporations to modest volunteers.
In Business is all about change. New ways of work and new technologies are challenging most of the assumptions by which organisations have been run for the last 100 years. We try to report on ideas coming over the horizon, just before they start being talked about. We hope it is an exhilarating ride.

Digital Radio
This week鈥檚 In Business listens to the future of the wireless as digital radio starts to make an impact.
Many other industries are undergoing a digital revolution, and radio is no exception. It means hundreds more channels and new ideas about what to put on them.
In America there鈥檚 a billion-dollar battle between two huge new satellite radio companies. At the same time, radio is reforming into great big media groups - a tug of war between big at one end and small at the other.
In the UK digital radio has been launched but a change in media laws could signal foreign companies buying domestic commercial radio stations and possibly a change in programming style.
Peter Day reports.
