We try to make ear-grabbing programmes about the whole world of work, public and private, from vast corporations to modest volunteers.
In Business is all about change. New ways of work and new technologies are challenging most of the assumptions by which organisations have been run for the last 100 years. We try to report on ideas coming over the horizon, just before they start being talked about. We hope it is an exhilarating ride.

Life coaching
This week Peter Day looks at the effect life coaching can have on individuals and businesses.
Imported from the USA about 5 years ago, this style of coaching prides itself on helping people decide what is really important in their lives. Once they've realised what their true priorities are it tries to help them achieve their dreams.
Life coaching has become hugely popular in the UK, partly because of its accessibility. Unlike other forms of coaching which tend to be confined to businesses or sports, anyone can use a life coach.
It's been much criticised because of the lack of commonly agreed standards or regulation.
