We try to make ear-grabbing programmes about the whole world of work, public and private, from vast corporations to modest volunteers.
In Business is all about change. New ways of work and new technologies are challenging most of the assumptions by which organisations have been run for the last 100 years. We try to report on ideas coming over the horizon, just before they start being talked about. We hope it is an exhilarating ride.

In this week's programme...
Baltic Frontier
This week Peter Day visits three small countries which are about to become Europeans.
He travels to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and finds how different the three small countries that share the east coast of the Baltic Sea feel from each other.
Different music, different laws, different religions: Estonia in the north, influenced by protestant Finland; Latvia, in the middle, with a strong Russia component, and Catholic Lithuania, the southernmost of the three, rubbing shoulders with Poland.
Thirteen years ago they broke free from 50 years of Soviet occupation; and now after an economic, political and social rollercoaster, they鈥檙e lining up to join the European Union in May, along with seven other central European states.
It鈥檚 a momentous moment for three small countries --totalling seven-and-a-half million people--with more than their fair share of history; He asks about their hopes and fears for the EU--and what they鈥檙e bringing to it.
It鈥檚 in the Baltics that you鈥檒l currently find the fastest economic growth rate in the whole world.. along with the country with the highest suicide rate of all.
