We try to make ear-grabbing programmes about the whole world of work, public and private, from vast corporations to modest volunteers.
In Business is all about change. New ways of work and new technologies are challenging most of the assumptions by which organisations have been run for the last 100 years. We try to report on ideas coming over the horizon, just before they start being talked about. We hope it is an exhilarating ride. Peter Day |

Testing times ahead for business

Testing, Testing
Tests have become as much a part of life for working adults as for schoolchildren.
In a quest to make better use of their human capital companies are increasingly trying to understand what kind of people work for them. For employees - or job applicants - that can mean a barrage of psychometric tests in an effort to find out if they're likely to work hard or fit in with their team mates.
Advocates of these questionnaires say they can give us all a better understanding of what we enjoy doing and why we find some people so hard to get along with.
