We try to make ear-grabbing programmes about the whole world of work, public and private, from vast corporations to modest volunteers.
In Business is all about change. New ways of work and new technologies are challenging most of the assumptions by which organisations have been run for the last 100 years. We try to report on ideas coming over the horizon, just before they start being talked about. We hope it is an exhilarating ride. Peter Day |

There's Oil in Them Thar Sands
This week Peter Day reports on the great Canadian oil rush. For hundreds of years, people have known about the huge reserves of oil trapped in a black tarry sand in the north of Alberta: a wilderness of oil stretching for miles. For decades it's been too expensive to get at, but now the rising global price of crude oil means that companies are scrambling to get their hands on it, creating what many describe as an 'oil rush'.
