Fi Glover
After starting her 大象传媒 career as a filing clerk in News Information Research Fi Glover rose through the ranks via the 大象传媒 Trainee Reporter Scheme which took her on a trip around various local radio stations before settling at London's .Before too long Radio听 beckoned and after sitting in on almost every show at Radio the station she took up the reins of the late night programme and stayed with the station for several years departing to try her hand at writing a book while in the United States.
This was rudely interrupted by a call from Radio 4 to present听 which she did for 18 months before leaving to have a baby. She is now poised and waiting for you on Saturday mornings with yet another programme with a self explanatory title.Find out more about Fi听...
Maria
Maria spent her formative years swimming and eating cheese sandwiches in , near Yate, near Bristol. Very little happened in seventeen years so after a brief stay in France she ran away to Birmingham and married the first man with a decent record collection she met. After late night work experience at and a "proper job" at Radio 4 (copyright Mrs Williams), the record collection moved to London. So Maria followed, freelanced and finally landed a job at , just before .
Staying firmly put, Maria interviewed stars, made documentaries, specialised in film, and advised the UK's teens on everything from sex to exam stress.
Ten years later she returned to the Radio 4 fold with a stint as Deputy Editor on听 until she decided that the only way to get out of sitting in a cold shed watching her children do sports on a Saturday morning was to jump ship and join . A fine decision. And not just for the bacon sandwiches.
Becky
Becky's first work experience was in a china factory in Stoke-on-Trent , where she soon learned the importance of a well constructed pot. Journalism seemed like a logical next step, and a few years down the line she got a job writing international news features for the internet company . She briefly tried to solve the world's problems at a development NGO, before deciding it was much more fun to make programmes about them instead, courtesy of听 on Radio 4.
Becky is new to Saturday mornings - both the being at work thing, and the general "a.m." experience, but is said to be coping well.
Torquil
Torquil is no stranger to Saturday mornings having enjoyed stints on听 in the dim and distant past and, more recently, . And then there was Stuart Maconie's Five Live topical laughter fest The Treatment. That was on a Saturday too. He spent several months in the late 90s running the听 website and was delighted to receive substantial amounts of hate-mail from fans of the Corrs.
If听 was a vintage analogue synthesiser, Torquil thinks it would be a Sequential Circuits Prophet 5. His 'must see' insect is the Convolvulus Hawk Moth.

A former Head of Barcoding, Laminating and Reboxification in the Sound Archive as well as voiceover artist for听 under the broadcasting ban, this man's skills are a valuable asset to any team who want to take him off our hands.
