OCD in Children

Interview with Dr Isobel Heyman, Consultant Child Psychiatrist at the OCD Clinic in the Maudsley Hospital's Department for Children and Adolescents (currently the only national specialist clinic for young people with OCD) about her recent research which concluded that the condition goes frequently undiagnosed in children.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

EMDR is now used for a wide range of complaints - post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and panic attacks. In Northern Ireland, where the Troubles have left a legacy of psychological trauma, some of the victims are being treated with EMDR. A report by Charlie Warmington.





Interview with Professor Paul Salkovskis, Professor of Clinical Psychology and Applied Science at London's Institute of Psychiatry who is one of those who questions whether the eye movement on which EMDR is based actually works.
