Hardwoods
Question: A few years ago Tomorrow's World said that there were hardwoods in the Amazon which could be harvested and replanted. I have not heard anything about them since. Can you discuss this matter?
Growing Season
Question: I note that recent research from the University of East Anglia shows that we have just had the longest growing season since records began - leaving aside the debate about global warming, what impact will this have on British flora and fauna?
Experts consulted:
Dr Tim Mitchell, Tyndall Centre, University of East Anglia
Dr Noranne Ellis, Scottish Natural Heritage
Environmental Investments
Question: I am interested in using this year's ISA allowance to invest in environmentally friendly products, but my financial advisor says that they will not perform as well as more standard investments - is this the case?
