The return of the series in which Grant Sonnex meets people who have spent their life with wildlife. This is a special trilogy of programmes from Alaska.
Alaska is a dramatic place full of charismatic wildlife.听 And the people who live and work with it are equally charismatic and fascinating. 鈥 One of the things I love about Alaska is the way it shakes up my view of the world and this trip and these people were no exception鈥 says presenter, Grant Sonnex.
A Life with Bears
In Alaska a stuffed, snarling Grizzly greets you at every airport, but it is an image that is completely contradicted by a trip out bear watching with Derek Stonorov.
 Derek specialises in guiding photographers and film makers to get close to the famous brown bears of the Alaskan coast, and his forty years as a bear-guide has given him a unique insight into the true nature of these animals.
Sitting in a grassy meadow surrounded by quietly grazing Grizzlies challenges all of Grant Sonnex鈥檚 preconceptions.
