Ray Edensor Have you ever thought of running the London marathon in a decontamination suit? A paramedic Ray Edensor has.
He has decided to take up a challenge of running over 200 miles in the suit.
He started on the 7th of April from Hanley Stoke and will conclude with the Flora London Marathon on Sunday.
His aim is to raise money for a children's charity called Dreams Come True.
He has pledged to raise 拢200,000 for the charity over five years. But the real challenge is that he has to come up with a different idea each year.
The previous years included running twenty marathons in twenty days from Paris to Blackpool and running a kissing marathon the year before where he ended up with sore lips.
His decontamination suit is airtight and he has to use a ventilator to pump oxygen in. He runs and sleeps in the suit 23 hours each day.
