Do schools discriminate against boys? An American boy is suing his school, claiming that the girls are outperforming boys because of a system which favours them. And over this side of the pond we鈥檝e been hearing about the gap in attainment at GCSE and A-level - which sees girls getting a higher proportion of the top grades. So are we expecting boys to reach their full potential whilst forcing them to learn in an environment better suited to girls?
