Lord Laming鈥檚 review into child safeguarding reforms, following the death of Baby P has called for a step change in leadership and practice to help protect children from harm. There are more targets for child protection, a major change in the training and professional development of social workers, and improving the staffing and status of police child protection teams. So will these reforms improve child protection policy and keep children safe?
