Woman's Hour Survey: Parenting |

As part of the 60th anniversary celebrations, Woman's Hour has commissioned a survey looking into the renegotiation of gender roles. Today, the programme considers parenting and childcare. In spite of the advent of the so-called 'new man', are women hardwired to be the primary carer? And if so many of our respondents feel that under 30 is the best age to have children, how come this isn't borne out by the statistics?
Joining Jenni to explore the issues are the novelist and writer Amanda Craig; Jill Kirby, who chairs the Family Policy Group at the Centre for Policy Studies and Damion Queva, Editor of Fathers' Quarterly Magazine.
