The 20,000 batch of designer material bags cost £5 and sold out in 10 minutes - but they were later attacked for being made in China. This throws up the question of whether designers should be more responsible in their approach to garment design and sourcing of materials, and by so doing inspire manufacturers and consumers to do the same.
