Are we doing our children a disservice by constantly praising them?
New research suggests that baby-boomer parents are over-praising their children to such an extent that they grow up with an inflated sense of their own intelligence and a lack of awareness about the ‘real world’. Are we over-praising to such an extent that our children never experience failure, or are we simply boosting their confidence and protecting them from the harsh reality they will soon face?
