How much have women benefited?

This last decade, words like Twitter, blogging, iPHone, X-box, MySpace, Facebook, message boards, have entered the English language and become daily parlance. The Noughties has brought an explosion of technology, and the internet is dominating popular culture just like music did in the seventies. The online world used to be seen as a听male domain, but now we鈥檙e hearing a lot about female social networking sites such as Mumsnet.听听How much is new technology benefiting the 'ordinary' woman? And are these developments all positive news? To discuss the issues Jane is joined by the writer India Knight and the clinical psychologist Dr Tanya Bryon.
