Janice Houghton-Wallace with one of her turkeys
The Cinderellas of the Poultry World

Janice Houghton-Wallace doesn’t have to bother ordering her Christmas turkey. She has almost a hundred of them roaming around her small holding at Wigtownshire in south west Scotland. They include special breeds like Bourbon Reds, Slates and Norfolk Blacks. Janice is joint founder of the Turkey Club U.K and says she wants to spread the word about the bird she calls the 'Cinderella of the poultry world’. Caz Graham went to meet her.
